Lithology and Thickness

Grey calcareous mudstones, marls and limestones, gypsum beds and dolomite at the top. 0 to 60 m.


Lithology Pattern: 
Shallow-marine marl


Relationships and Distribution

Lower contact

Overlies the limestone of the Tabakcha Fm.

Upper contact

The top portion of dolomite is overlain by the marl of the Karatag Fm.

Regional extent

Afghan-Tajik Basin.
